La Cordonnerie

"La Cordonnerie" is a little holiday cottage built in a spacious garden and close to the owners own residence. It sleeps 2 to 4 people comfortably. Marcourt is a small Ardennes village in the Ourthe valley (fishing and kayaking opportunities available). Marcourt has 3 hotels with restaurants, 1 tavern (take-away available), a local market every Wednesday in July and August (from 5pm till 9pm.) and many waymarked woodland footpaths. For extreme-sports fans there is a paragliding run, and for mountain-bikers, plenty paths. For those who just want to get away from it all, there is a retreat at the top of the hills? You can also sample good beer at the Achouffe brewery, Trappist monk?s beer and lots of other regional varieties. For shoppaholics Marcourt is 8kms away from La Roche, 8kms from Hotton and 20kms from Durbuy ( 3 small but well known, tourist hot-spots).
