This part of the Aegean is famous for its seafood, especially for its Red Mullett and Sea Bream, the finest in Turkey. You can enjoy these fish in the many fish restaurants in the area. There are no sprawling holiday complexes, bar streets, or groups of drunken youths. The Karaburun peninsular remains the last untouched and undeveloped part of Turkey's Aegean coast, where farmers work the land with horse and plough and colourfully decorated mules carry produce to local markets.

Swimming....?
Villa Manzara, a detached house, nestles in a beautiful cove on the unspoilt Karaburun peninsular. With mountain and sea views from its twin verandas, you can slowly unwind in the beautiful setting, or wander down to the two pebble beeches 200 metres from the house for excellent swimming in the gentle Aegean. One of the beeches even has its own spring where you can wash away the salt after swimming.
