Position
Convenient for Risør and an ideal base for exploring the Southern Coast of Norway. It is easy to fall in love with Risør. This white town on the Skagerrak is the melting pot of Sørlandet. Outer Risør has the magnificent archipelago and romantic Sørland houses which stand shoulder to shoulder around the beautiful harbour. Everything goes on inside Risør. Street life is more continental than Norwegian. There is activity all around and things are constantly going on like the Chambermusic Festival, the Arts and Crafts Festival and the International Woodenboat Festival. Risør is also known for its galleries, three of them are open all year round. During the summer comes at least three more, which is quite good concidering that Risør town has only 7.000 inhabitants.

Lunden
Outdoor Activities Fishing, shooting and outdoor activities Lunden Hytteutleie offer their guests excellent opportunities for outdoor activities in woods and fields, on lakes and sea. In the area around the cabins there are fine walks, and with the aide of a new and detailed map it is easy to find one's way waking in the woods. On the old farm from the 1700 century, there are horses and other domestic animals. A number of anglers make their way to Lunden Hytteutleie, and the catches are rich in both the lake (trout, perch, char and eel) and the sea (mackerel, cod and coley). A short distance away salmon fishing at a reasonable fee is possible in the river Storelva, and for those interested in deep-sea fishing, this may be arranged from a special vessel.
