This popular growing area is on the Aegean coast and has 3 beautiful sandy beaches some with water sports facilities, The waters are shallow and safe for children. Altinkum also has some excellent shops, and over 100 bars and restaurants to choose from where prices are much cheaper than here and many have entertainment in the evening. There are also at least two night clubs and a funfair. A short bus ride (Dolmus) will take you into the larger part of the town where there is a weekly Bazaar. There is also a water park only a short distance away and the temple of Apollo which was constructed in 300bc and took 500 years to build

Ephesus which is one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world is a real must, with its 5'000 years of history, is the best preserved and visited of all ages, and even mentioned in the book of revelations. There are many boat trips you can take, either around the Aegean coast visiting many of the islands, or a leisurely trip to Bodrum. All the above can be easily arranged.
