There is a small shop next to the pool which sells most of your basic requirements including gas and water which they will happily carry up and fit for you. It is open all day until 10pm or later. The local Dolmus (mini bus) also runs a regular service to Altinkum from close by. A car is not necessary as airport transfers are easily arranged and cheap, but there is parking available in the complex if required. Close to the complex you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a themepark, and restaurants.

THINGS TO DO AND SEE
Some sites near the complex. A hire car is recommend to make the most of the attractions but not essential. ALTINKUM Fantastic safe seaside town (the name Altinkum means golden sands). Food, shops in fact every thing you will need. Altinkum benefits from three beach areas, all well maintained and there are sun beds and parasols for hire and watersports available. The compact town center means that everything is within easy walking distance, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. There is always a friendly relaxed atmosphere here and the people are very welcoming. The resort has a variety of amenities, making it appealing to a wide age range - offering everything from a traditional Turkish Bath, to all night clubbing. The restaurants offer a wide range of cuisine, with most providing a selection of English, International and Turkish dishes. There is also an Indian and a Chinese restaurant in the resort. The location of Altinkum makes it an ideal base, for tours to explore the heritage and culture of Turkey, with such places as Ephesus and Pammukale being only a few hours away and Apollo Temple, just a few minutes up the road
