Island Ugljan - untouched, ecologically preserved island near Zadar
Island Ugljan is very close to Zadar, very attractive old town full of roman inheritance and churches. It is nice place to start vacation with and than if you wish real relax go to the island Ugljan, not very far from Zadar. Nature is untouched, there is no much tourists in small fisherman villages like Sutomiscica is. There are many domestic restaurants that will offer you delicious sea food based on domestic olive oil and fresh vegetables from their own gardens.

Trekking and mountain biking
Whole island is paradise for bike lovers and there are numerous routs, for beginners and for professionals. Also, there is diving school in place Ugljan. Excursions to the National park Kornati is organised from Kukljica which is 15 km far from the apartment. Since there is ferry Preko - Zadar connecting whole day island with Zadar, you could go to Zadar and visit some national parks in the area: Plitvice lakes, Krka Waterfalls.

Kukljica - tourist resort
Kukljica is most live place in the summer so when you need some ''civilisation'' visit this picturesque, fisherman village. There is disco club also there for night life. During the summer there are numerous ''village parties'' in different places. Once you find yourself on the island find information in the nearest tourist office about manifestations on island.
