Furthermore: -Schagen, a nice small town with a cosy sqaire, small streets and restaurants, a nice place for shopping. On thursdays there?s a market with during summermonths shows with ancient clothes. -Enkhuizen, Medemblik and Hoorn are old fishermenscommunities at the shores of the IJsselmeer, certainly worth a visit. We recommend a trip Twisk- Medemblik-Enkhuizen. -For children the ?Fairyland? in Enhuizen is a very nice and affordable daytrip. After visiting Fairyland you can picknick and swim in the IJsselmeer. Also in Enkhuizen is the Zuiderzeemuseum.-A daytrip to the island of Texel is a very nice way to spend your day on the beaches, the quiet nature and relaxed atmosphere-To visit Amsterdam, you can take the train from the Schagen-railwaystation. Trains depart every half-hour, car-parking is free.-Alkmaar, every Friday the famous cheese-market during summermonths. Cleaning : EURO 25, unless you do it yourself
