Lhota u Konice
Lhota u Konice is a peaceful little village in the heart of the hilly countryside of Moravia (Drahanska vrchobina), at about 35 km distance from the town of Olomouc. This afforested area is ideal for cycling trips. In the surroundings, there are numerous excursions: the fortress of Bouzov (at appr. 20 km): 4 different touristic circuits, weekend programme for kids, riding, large network of cycling paths, caves and outdoor swimming-pool in Javoricko (at 15 km). Orchard, caves in Mladec (at about 25 km). Bila Lhota ? the grounds of the castle with its rare species of trees (at appr. 12km). The natural reservate of the Moravian "Karst" ? caves sheltering unique stalactites -, the abyss of Macocha. You can take a boatride on the subterranean river of Punkva. Swimming and fishing in the reservoir of Plumlov (at 25 km), in Boskovice or in the leisure centre of Suchy (at 20 km),etc... Tennis at 5 km., riding-centre on the spot. Restaurant at 1 km. Shops in the village (à 100 m). You will stay in a 2-room apartment (85 m2), with space for 4 to 6 persons, on the upper level of a farm, refurbished as a holiday-house. The house is surrounded by a large fenced garden (500m2) with a pond, outdoor fireplace, barbecue, sitting area, ping-pong table (shared with the owner) on the edge of the village. Communal indoor swimming-pool (9mx3,5mx1,2m), sauna, 2 mountain bikes for rent.
