The Daisy Apartment
The Daisy is a new, privately owned first floor luxury apartment with air conditioning and heating in all rooms. We have furnished it as our second home and we hope that you will find it much more than just a holiday let and will feel relaxed in your 'Home from Home' The apartment is situated in a quiet location on a small complex of ten villas and four apartments built around a swimming pool and with stunning views of the valley of Ovacik and Hisoronu,it has two en-suite bedrooms both with fitted furniture. The master bedroom has a double bed and there are two single beds in the second bedroom.The lounge is open plan, providing seating for four, with a television and DVD player, there are DVDs,CDs, books and games provided should you just wish to relax, maybe with a glass of wine. The kitchen has a seating area for four people and is fully equipped with a microwave,a two ring hob (eating out is very cheap), toaster,kettle,crockery and cutlery. We have a non-smoking policy which we hope you will approve of. The complex is a very friendly one. The English speaking caretaker lives on site with his young family and will go out of his way to look after you. The apartment will be serviced during your stay, bed linen and towels are provided (not beach towels) and will be changed twice a week.

Apartment Location
The apartment has balconies at the front and rear of the property. The front balcony overlooks the swimming pool and the valley of Ovacik and the sea at Olu Deniz in the distance. During the day you will be able to watch the para-gliders as they take off from the Babadag Mountains.At night you can relax on the balcony watching the twinkling lights in the valley. The sunsets are spectacular. There are also balconies leading off both bedrooms looking up at the Tauraus mountain range. When one balcony is in the sun the other is in the shade so you can take your pick. The nearest bus (Dolmus) is 150 yards away and regular Dolmus run to Fethiye, Olu Deniz and Hisaronu. Also located on the main road are the nearest shops,restaurants, barbers and the local taxi company. Hisaronu is the nearest town and is ten minutes walk away either through the forest trail which is very pleasant (there is a good chance that you will spot the odd tortoise or two} or along the main road.

The Fethiye Region
This part of Turkey is absolutely stunning. You are just a 15 minute dolmus ride from the ancient Lycian town of Fethiye with its huge Tuesday market and colourful harbour front - try a visit to the fish market in the Old Town - you can purchase your fish and then have it cooked and served in one of the adjacent restaurants for just a few pounds. Just along the coast (5 minutes by road or a short water taxi away is Calis with views (and spectacular sunsets) across Fethiye Bay. The famous Olu Deniz or 'Blue Lagoon' is just 10 minutes away, it has been designated a National Park because of its outstanding beauty and you will be able to picnic by the lagoon or enjoy the bars and restaurants in the main town. Hisaronu the famous 'mountain resort' is the closest town to the apartment and is just a ten minute walk away (or hop on a dolmus). It is lively and bright and is suitable for families with restaurants and shops to suit every taste. Kaya village as featured in Louis Berniere's 'Birds without wings' is very close and is a fascinating place to visit. These are just a small sample of the many delights to be found in the area which can be reached either by public transport or by one of the many locally organised trips. Olu Deniz is the nearest beach and the area has opportunities for deep-sea diving (beginners and skilled divers), sailing, horse riding, white water rafting, para-gliding and trekking(the Lycian Way starts nearby)
