El Apartamento is part of a traditional farmhouse, sharing interesting mature gardens with the owners Cortijo and Casa Pequeña which is also available for holiday rentals. Gardens designed so each home enjoys their own space and privacy, also communal terraces. The Ideal holiday destination for travellers seeking a tranquil holiday away from the package deal. Excellent base to soak up the rugged beauty of Andalucia - CAR ESSENTIAL to explore the many attractions in the area. Many small resorts and beaches along this unspoilt Granada coastline; including, Salobreña, Almuñecar, Castell de Ferro & La Herradura. Also a good base for bargain property searches - many travellers have bought when staying here. The area remains SPANISH, restaurants and bars are varied and reasonably priced. Motril Port area has many excellent fish eateries. Motril itself is busy with many cafes/bars, excellent shopping facilities - including a large hypermarket & daily indoor market. Nightclubs more limited & no British pubs yet! Nearby, Puntalón - 10 minute walk - has two bars & restaurants.

SUB-TROPICAL GARDENS
The mature gardens contain many fruit trees, palms and flowering shrubs - in season help youself to avocados, custard apples & oranges. Not forgetting the herb patch. Best climate in mainland Europe. Also enjoy a tranquil fountain area, BBQ & various patios - ideal for Al Fresco dining. Not forgetting the private swimming pool with sun bathing deck & loungers (shared only with occupants of Casa Pequeña). The gardens are very relaxing and can be used 24/7 - perfect place to 'chill' or read countless books. Different corners in both sun or shade - plus your own private roof sun terrace with lovely views of the Mediterranean coast, mountains and Motril. Gardens illuminated in the evenings. Pets welcome. The owners 2 friendly dogs (Ben & Jerry) live on site, spending much of the day dozing - an example the guests often follow!

Tastefully furnished and well equipped for full time occupancy not just holiday lets. BBC/Sky satellite TV. Recently fitted kitchen, all mod cons. DVD, Wi-Fi network (bring your laptop on working stay - free use). Spacious double bedroom with King bed, separate living room with double & single sofa-beds and large squashy sofa. Tiled bathroom/WC, bath with shower over. Maximum occupany 4. Although, more suitable for couples, perhaps with one child. On arrival cleaned & beds made, complementary welcome food/wine pack in the fridge.
