The Villa
Villa Sena is the very latest jewel in the crown of Deniz Koy -Akbuk. Also near to the world famous resorts of Altinkum and Bodrum. Villa Sena is the ideal holiday home from home. The villa itself sleeps 6 persons comfortably in its 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedded and boasts the usual host of luxury features to ensure your stay is both a pleasant one and indeed a comfortable one. Whether you come here on holiday for relaxation with a capital "R" or prefer to club it up till the early hours in nearby Altinkum, Villa Sena is the perfect place for you and your friends or family. Villa Sena is located within easy walking distance of the sandy beaches with mature gardens and crystal clear waters. Should you wish to enjoy the golden sands of Altinkum then this is a ten minute drive away by car. Taxis are available f you wish to enjoy the local restaurants and bars without the need to watch your alcoholic intake (well you are on holiday aren't you?) The pool size is 9m x4m and depth 90cm (for 3.5m) then 1.8m (for 5.5m) spa pool at shallow end -there are pool side shower facilities - sun beds and parasols. You can see that the huge swimming area is one of the main features of the Villa Sena and we mean you to enjoy your holiday with complete peace of mind so, if you have little ones in your party you will most certainly appreciate the child safety gate. This will ensure that even the most inquisitive of little minds will not be able to pass to the pool area without adult supervision. Relax and enjoy a peaceful breakfast on the balcony by the private pool as you ponder your itinerary for the forthcoming day and take in the breathtaking scenery of the world renowned Bodrum peninsula and its inviting azure blue sea. The breathtaking rugged mountain views and the air perfumed with a hint of mandarin from the fruit groves indigenent to the peninsula combine for a never to be forgotten experience The salon is downstairs. Boasting satellite T.V. and air conditioning it is both airy and spacious. The upstairs has a balcony and french doors to the balcony with magnificent sea and mountain views, the balcony make an ideal area for a pre dinner gin and tonic. We hope you enjoy your stay at the Villa Sena and just to make sure we have built the villa to very high standards ensuring comfort and safety at all times. The villa consists of 2 double bedrooms (one with en-suite facilities), 1 twin bedded room with ample room for child's cot in any of the bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and ample storage for your clothes. There is the facility to have a child's cot put in the room should you require it. The bedroom is fully air conditioned for your comfort. The master bedroom also has en suite toilet and shower facilities. The master bedroom is huge so plenty of room for everyone's needs. The twin bedded room, is bright, airy and spacious. This bedroom is situated on top floor of the villa. The downstairs double bedded bedroom is spacious and has lots of cupboard space to enable you get all your suitcases unpacked and tidied away so you can enjoy a clutter free stay at the Villa Sena. The beds in the villa are the highest quality and you will enjoy a good nights sleep after the ardour's of a busy day. One of the two bathrooms in Villa Sena (this one is downstairs) again finished with the best quality Turkish ceramics and fixtures and fittings. The other bathroom is en-suite to the master bedroom and has an amazing jaccuzzi for a truly wonderful relaxing spa bath. The Kitchen is well equipped with Gas/electric cooker, microwave, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. There are also separate fridge freezers and a state of the art automatic washing machine. The kitchen is fully stocked with high quality cooking and dining utensils/crockery and there is ample seating for 8 persons in the adjacent dining room Villa Sena Baby pack Taking your baby on holiday needn't be a chore with the Villa Sena baby pack. We will supply a baby cot, push chair, car seat, baby bottles sterilising unit, baby/toddler car sunshade, will be available. the all inclusive price of £20.00 per week or £40.00 for two weeks. Extras In order to get the most out of your stay we do include many things at no extra cost to you. However in order to remain competitive we have to charge for the following :- The services of a local cook can be obtained to prepare for you some typically Turkish cuisine which can be prepared either at the villa or outside and delivered to the villa. Prices available on request. The villa is cleaned and serviced every week but for a small additional cost more frequent visits can be arranged.

Altinkum
Set on a sandy bay, Altinkum is a purpose-built resort with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. This is a place for people who love the beach, and there are no fewer than four within easy reach. The Main Beach in front of the resort is a long wide stretch of golden sand, where you can bask in the sun, potter in a pedalo or try out a range of water sports. A mile away, beyond the harbour, the Third Beach offers a quieter environment and its waters are clear and sparkling. When you finally tear yourself away from the sea, Altinkum's shops offer an interesting range of value-for-money goods and souvenirs. Well worth looking out for are leather bags and jackets, designer clothes, Turkish carpets, onyx vases, ornaments and keyrings and gold jewellery in unusual designs. Not forgetting the weekly market in neighbouring Yenihisar, which sells everything from spices to clothes and gives you the opportunity to haggle and have some fun. Guests can enjoy a Gulet boat trip with one of the many experienced Black Island captains. Enjoy your lunch and afternoon tea in one of the many secluded coves of the Bodrum peninsula. Try your hand at snorkelling and if you feel up to a more adventurous dive then guests can try the nearby approved diving school. Nearby Bodrum and Kusadasi also boast many aqua parks a great day out for young and old alike. Nearby is the wonderful Akbuk beach and every week there is a local market where you can buy traditional Turkish goods and delicacies. The nearest beach is within easy walking distance from the villa and Altinkum is 10 mins drive by car. Bodrum -Milas international airport is approx. 45 mins-1 hours drive from the villa. There are local markets and shops as well as hyper markets where you will find they accept most major credit cards. Most shops are happy to take foreign currency but please be advised Scottish notes and those issued by Northern Irelands banks are not accepted. You can't come to Altinkum without visiting some of the nearby ancient sites. Only 4km away is the Temple of Apollo at Didyma. Three columns still stand to their full height measuring 19.70 metres and 2.40 metres in width. A mass of marble stumps gives an idea of the colossal size of the original structure. Other sites worth visiting include the classical Greek city of Prienne and the ancient port of Miletus, now landlocked by the silting up of the River Maeander There are various local markets in the locality where a range of home produced fruits and vegetables can be purchased. Fresh eggs, local cheeses and home baked village bread are also readily available. The local drink is Raki and this can be purchased locally for those balmy summer evening by the pool.
