the history
Galati was a part of the large estate of the noble family Arone di Bertolino. The house with his position on the hill dominating the vally was bild in the 17th century. The block of building was square, and the house was rising to face north. The view, As far as the eye could see, was superb. Two flight of stairs allowed acsess at the main house. Unfortunately the building was distroied by the earthquake of the 1968. The property covers some 29 acres and is surrounded by olive groves, almond and some pistachio trees. From May to the beginning of September there are fields of tomatoes, if requested we will teach you how to pick the tomatoes, to cook and to preserve a delicious tomato sauce.

Scirocco
Scirocco sleeps 2+2. It has its own separate entrance and private outdoor terrace with portable barbeque. It comprises one bedroom and a wide bathroom, a living area with sofa bed and kitchen corner. The apartment have ceiling fan in each room and is fully equipped for comfortable self catering. Ideally situated for visiting the Greek temples of Agrigento, Selinunte and Segesta.
