Mavisehir is on the unspoiled Southern Aegean coast and borders the Dilik penisula's national park. Ancient Ionia is all around you, with Ephesus just an hour away and the Temple of Apollo at Didyma, almost within walking distance. The complex is predominantly Turkish owned, which makes it a very laid-back place to be. However, for livelier souls, there is an Aqua Park just up the road and the resort of Altinkum is just a twenty minute Dolmus ride away, or ten minutes by taxi. Both have terminals on the complex and both take you past Didyma's Temple of Apollo (the fish restaurant opposite is simply the best in town). There is a Dolmus every fifteen minutes or so and there is usually a taxi waiting

This is a Turkish villa, built and furnished in the Turkish style (with the exception of the western WCs!). Its three bedrooms (two doubles and a single) are compact but well fitted with built in wardrobes. Across the hall is the main bathroom, and there is a second WC on the ground floor. The open plan living area comes fully equipped with Satellite TV, DVD, family size fridge/freezer, hob, washing machine, microwave and toaster. Towels and bedding are also included. All floors are tiled, and the stairs are marble. Leading from the lounge is a large veranda for al fresco dining, and up above there is a roof terrace with spectacular views over Mavisehir (blue ocean) bay to the Greek Islands; the perfect place for sunbathing. From the villas, steps lead down to a small, picturesque harbour, complete with fishing boats, swimming platforms, beach and picnic areas, and three open air restaurants. Shopping-wise, there is a daily market on site (June-September) and a small grocery shop, although most prefer to use the new supermarket, just a short walk away across the highway. All in all, Mavisehir offers the perfect location for a wonderful holiday. Airport transfers can be arranged at £35 per trip for up to seven people, and our local, English speaking agent is just a phone call away in the unlikely event that you should encounter any problems or simply if you need any help and advice.
