Finca Apolinar is a large comfortable 4 bedroomed villa with an independant 2 bedroomed apartment attached.There is a good sized swimming pool and various patio and BBQ areas. The large farmhouse kitchen has a full cooker, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, fridge and microwave along with a full complement of pots, pans, crockery and glassware etc. There is seating for 8 at the pine dining table. The freezer is located in the bar. Also downstairs the villa has a small office with broadband internet connection, a bar with French windows out onto a patio and a full bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. Upstairs are the four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom. In additon there are 2 twin rooms and one with bunk beds there is also a w.c. with hand basin. The apartment is approached by steps leading up the side of the villa and consists of a large through living/kitchen/dining room with a comfortable cottage feel to it. It is fully beamed throughout and has an open fireplace. There is terrestial Spanish t.v. as well as a video player. The kitchen area has a hob, microwave oven, fridge, automatic washing machine and a counter top oven. As with the main villa there is a good selection of crockery, cooking utensils etc. The apartment has two bedrooms, one twin and one double the latter has a full en-suite bathroom in addition to which there is a shower room with w.c and hand basin. Outside the apartment has it's own patios, one in full sun and one in the shade of fig trees. It has a BBQ and patio furniture. The 7.5x 5 m. swimming pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace and is set against a wonderful mountain back drop. There is a built in BBQ and a large brick and ceramic table with plenty of seating for all guests.Steps lead from here to an area of decking off which there is a summer room and a lovely garden area with a fish pond. Andalucia and the Costa del Sol
Andalucia. Andalucia has the largest area of land designated to nature reserves within Europe and Las Castanas is set on the edge of one of them, The Sierra Crestellina National Park. The surrounding countryside offers many beautiful walks into unspoilt countryside where the air is wonderfully fresh and clean.The bird-watching is amongst the best in Europe and the spring wild flowers are a delight to behold.In addition there is always the chance to see wild boar,mongeese and Ibex as the Sierra Crestellina National Park is a stronghold of these animals. Casares. The nearby village of Casares is a typical Andalucian white village with its quaint,winding´virtually traffic free lanesThere is a good choice of bars and restuarants offering local cuisine .For those who are interested in local Fiestas dates to remember are The Romeria held at Whitsun,the Casares main feria held over the first weekend in August and the smaller one held on the weekend closest to 15th. September.On these occasions there is all night live music and dancing in the streets. Costa del Sol. If you tire of the peace and tranquility of Finca Apolinar and yearn for a little excitement then you will find all you desire just 25 minutes away on the Cost del Sol.Here there are shops,bars restaurants and night-life to suit even the most discerning of tastes .The beautiful beaches are long,clean and safe and most of them have excellent chiringitos (beach bars) serving wonderful mediterranean fare.In addition the Costa del Sol has an excellent selection of world class golf courses.
