On the Spanish Costa Calida, Mar Menor Golf Resort has now been opened for 18 months. The site consists of 2,3 and 4 bedroom detached villa, some with private pools, build around the Jack Nicklaus promoted golf course.The resort is gated and has 24 hour security. The recreational center has many excellent facilites including a beautiful pool complex seving snacks, tennis and a gym. The Resort restuarant serves first class food and offers a delivery sevice for pizza etc.The on- site 5*hotel is due to open in summer of 2006 which will further increase the facilities available.Our villa is situated in a quiet part of the resort and is ideal for familes or couples. Golfers will find many varied courses to chose from in the area, including the three championship courses at nearby La Manga.

Upstairs: Master bedroom with king-sized bed and en suite with bath and shower. Bedroom 1 with 2 twin beds and aTV/DVD player. Bedroom 2 with 2 twin beds All bedrooms have airconditioning and built in wardrobes for excellent storage. House bathroom with bath and over head shower. The sun terrace is accessed from upstairs. This is a quiet area for escaping and soaking up the rays. Downstairs: Large living/dining room,fully air conditioned with patio doors. Thoughtfully furnished with large flat screen TV receiving all terestrial UK chanels Sky sports and Sky movies. DVD/Video, complete music system and a PS2 for the children- many games and DVDs are also available. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and oven. Self catering is made very easy with everything you need, including an electric grilling machine and juicer. Utility room with washing machine tumble dryer and a combi boiler for instant hot water and central heating. There is an iron and vaccum cleaner available for your use. Outside. The 8x4m heated swimming pool is one of the very few on the resort. It stands in private gardens with sunlougers and a lawned area. The Costa Calida or warm coast offers a superb climate, averaging temperatures of 21'C and over 310 days of sunshine.It is unspoilt by mass tourism and has many local authentic Spanish towns where "fish and chips" and full English breakfasts" are not found. Los Alcazaries is the nearest seaside town. It sits on the shores of the Mar Menor with its long, safe and sandy beaches and nature reserve.The cosmopolitan town of Murcia is 35 mins by car. It boasts a beautiful cathedral and many fashionable shops and eating places. Near to Murcia is the Sierra Espuna, a mountainous National Park, with senic walks and breath-taking views.

The large covered dining patio seats 8 and has an electric patio heater and a BBQ.The owners bicycles are available on request- an excellent way to travel round the site.
