If you want to sail, dive, swim or fish, the Diemelstausee can offer all of this! The bird relief for predatory birds and wols, close to Marsberg, is surely worth visiting. In Marsberg you have an indoor swimming pool and sauna called "Diemeltal". For those who love to cycle then there is the "Diemel cycle route" which is ideal. The route is 110km, from the start of the river the Diemel up to the mouth in Bad Karlshafen. A big part of the route runs through Marsberg and lets you see a versatile landscape, of the "Waldecker Upland" to the Nature Park Diemelsee up to the hilly middle mountain chains. Therefore, pure enjoyment...!
