The world renown resort of olu deniz (the blue lagoon) with its sheltered beach and lagoon is ideal for children and swimming. Butterfly Valley is a short boat ride away as is nearby Hisaronu with its nightlife, clubs, restuarants and bars. Calis beach is 5km from Fethiye and is well known region for entertainment, it can be reached by water taxi from fethiye Harbour. The shoreline is a 6km long and is famous for nesting turtles and wonderful sunsets.
