NUBIANESQUE GUEST APARTMENTS
LOCATION As you drive along the gap that leads to Nubianesque, you could be forgiven for wondering whether there really is a place at the end of it that could possibly live up to the promise of what you have been told about Nubianesque. Still you've began the journey and you're here now. Curiosity gets the better of you. You follow the direction you've been given and follow the road that leads through the village. FIRST IMPRESSIONS As you round the final bend and drive down the hill, you involuntarily take a sharp intake of breath, for the view is truly breathtaking. For a moment you forget that you are in Barbados, as this could be one of those pictures you see in tour magazines; enticing tourists to visit. The villa is to the left as you drive down the incline and is a solid, neat looking grey and white building with stairs leading to the two floors. Nubianesque is nestled in a corner with only one other house in front though this in no way interferes with the views from the Villa. As you ascend the stairs your eyes are drawn to the view of the West Coast that gradually appears before you. The view gets better the higher you climb and any doubts you may have had about the location of Nubianesque soon vanish. What strikes you most about Nubianesque , apart from the wonderful home from home atmosphere, is the feel of the place. Nubianesque induces within you a sense of peace and tranquillity which lies outside rational explanation. You feel compelled to stand and stare at the sea view below. As you do your whole being relaxes and you begin to experience a sense of calm and appreciation of Barbados as a plae to live, work and holiday. Visitors immediately begin to fantasize about moving here and indeed have made offers to buy the place from the owners!

INTERIOR
The Lounge/Diners are large pleasantly co-ordinated rooms, with cable TV, comfortable seating and a dining table which could comfortably seat six. Ceiling fans and duel aspect doors keep the rooms cool, bright and comfortable. The patios are large enough for outside dining or simply relaxing. In addition the Upper Apartment has a large sundeck, ideal for having meals, sunbathing, relaxing, or entertaining. All the bedrooms are light and spacious with coordinated bedding and curtains. One double and two King sized downstairs, the upstairs can be either three Twin sized or a combination of King/Twin. Additionally a further bed may be added to the Lilac room for larger groups. They are simply furnished with standing fans and pleasant view of the well maintained gardens. The kitchens are large with washing machine, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and gas cooker (Electric oven upstairs). Cookware, glasses and cutlery are all on hand.

IN AND AROUND THE AREA
In close proximity to Nubianesque Apartments we have a local mini mart, a Bajan restaurant and a Pizza House. Also the world famous Sandy Lane Golf Course, Holders Polo Club and Holders Open Air Theatre hosting Concerts for acclaimed artistes, such as Pavarotti.... For cricket fans, Holders has its own cricket green hosting many international teams. There are also numerous water sport activities: diving, snorkeling, water skiing jet skis and Glass Bottom boat rides. Some beaches also have horse riding.
