FuenSanta is a perfect retreat
FuenSanta is situated up in the hills of Andalucia yet only 30 minutes from Malaga airport. It is set back from the road on the perimeter of an orange farm with 360-degree views of the countryside beyond. The nearest village is Pizarra 3kms away and Granada, Rhonda and Seville are all within a few hours drive.

The real beauty of FuenSanta is its half-acre garden
full of orange, lemon and almond trees and an abundance of wonderful aromas. Simply relax in a hammock or enjoy long alfresco lunches sitting under the vines. Alternatively take a dip in the stunning swimming pool. 'We have had a fabulous time and very much look forward to returning some day! The nearest baker, pharmacy and supermarket are in Pizarra (3kms). The health centre in Cartama (8kms) is excellent. Alora (20 mins by car) has a Monday market and good tapas bars and restaurants. The Museo restaurant on the way to Pizarra has a garden and stunning views and 'Los Caballos' on the road from Pizarra to Alora offers a translated menu. Malaga (30 mins by car or 25 minutes by train from Aljaima Estacion FCC) now boasts the newly opened Picasso exhibition as well as excellent shopping and restaurants both in the town centre and at the beach.Granada (90 mins) with its unique Alhambra, Rhonda (60 mins), Cordoba famous for its Mosque and Seville with its stunning old town (3 hours) are all worth visiting. El Torcal, prehistoric landscape Antequera (40 mins). Plenty of beaches - for those looking for peace and tranquility Canueloa beach near Nerja (50 mins) is only approachable by 4 x 4 vehicle (transport provided) and is great for snorkelling. Puerto Banus (30 mins) has designer shops and a marina. Marbella (1 hour) and Gibraltar (1 hr 45 minutes) are great days out.

FuenSanta has a half acre garden with 20/30 orange and lemon tress. It has a large patio area and two outdoor eating areas covered by vines. A hammock and garden furniture are provided and we have a half size badminton court. The private swimming pool (8m x 4m) has a good shallow area, ideal for children. 360- views of the mountains and countryside. FuenSanta is equipped with radiator heaters, fans and full protection against mosquitoes (nets and plug-ins). There is a futon sofa bed(double) in the living room and two built-in Spanish benches. Additional cold shower by the pool.
