LOCAL AKTIVITIES
Situated on the bodrum peninsula, Yalikavak is an ideal base to enjoy all the best that Turkey has to offer. With the clear blue waters of the Agean on your doorstep it's no wonder that scuba diving, snorkling, windsurfing, fishing and sailing are all well catered for. Local attractions include Ephesus, the largest archaeological site in the world, the stunning pools at Pamukkale, the royal rock tombs at Dalyan, the temple of Apollo at Didim or St. Peter's castle built by the crusaders, just 10 miles away in Bodrum. Enjoy a real Turkish bath, from only £3, or join one of the boat trips that visit the many secluded coves or the famous Blue Lagoon. Try a Turkish night, with belly dancing and a buffet of traditional mezes for £14, take a daytrip to Kos or visit the many daily markets. Yalikavak's Thursday market is a bright and colorful affair with linen, (towels for £3), T shirts for £2 and spices, as well as leather all very good value. The town has several relaxing palm fringed beaches and you can stroll along the waterfront and watch the locals catch their supper off the harbor wall, or watch one of the famous sunsets, as you sip a pint of the local Effes beer for about £1.30.

CHANGE OVER TIMES & THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY
Change over day for the property will be Saturday but we will try and be flexible during the quieter times of the season. All linen and towels are included in the price and airport transfers to and from the villa can be arranged with the management company. We will offer a reduction for booking longer than a week. Check in time at the house will normally be 4pm at the earliest and check out time 10am but this may change depending on flights times in and out of Bodrum. You will be advised of this nearer the time and every effort will be made to get you into the villa as soon as you arrive. The Villa is managed by Simply Villa Management whichs staff speaks english, dutch, german and turkish and can help and advise whatever is needed and required.
