Where it is
The Costa de Almeria is located in the South East of Spain, between the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Sol. One of the warmest and driest regions of Spain, with over 320 days of sunshine a year, it has a unique landscape of wide open plains, imposing mountain ranges and excellent unspoilt beaches.

Casa Marco
Casa Marco has its own small private garden which is close to the beautiful large swimming pool with bridge and children's adventure play area. The garden has its own private shaded terrace; complete with a table and chairs. Sun-beds are also provided. Leading from the terrace into the house through the patio doors is the lounge/dining room, equipped with a TV, DVD, CD player and comfortable sofas (one of which is a sofabed), dining table seating four and a wood burning stove for those cooler winter evenings. This room is also AIR-CONDITIONED. Also on the lower level is the downstairs shower room and toilet complete with heater. Off the hallway is the lovely fully equipped kitchen fitted with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, iron & ironing board and all necessary utensils. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with balcony and one twin bedroom, BOTH AIR-CONDITIONED, along with an additional fully equipped bathroom with shower and heater. A safe is fitted. A hairdryer is supplied.

What's on Offer
The facilities at Playas del Sur consist of a large open-air swimming pool with a separate children's pool surrounded by sun terraces, gardens and fountain, plus play area. The long sandy beach is just a 5 minute stroll away - it stretches for miles and is never crowded. A further 20 minute stroll will take you to a naturist beach. Set around the area you will find a selection of shops and supermarkets, two tennis courts, a bank, a roast chicken take-away and numerous bars and restaurants. Also for a small charge the use of the leisure club nearby, with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gymnasium. GOLF For keen golfers there are four golf courses in the area, the first on the mountain, which is a nine-hole golf course in Cortijo Grande. Two new courses in the area: Desert Springs Golf Club 6179 metres, Par 72, this is the first desert golf course in Europe, and is built to the standard of the famous desert course in Arizona. Also Marina de la Torre 5700 metres, Par 72, positioned opposite the beach in Mojacar - this course attracts golfers looking for that new challenge. Split into two distinct nine holes on either side of the hill, overlooking the beach and sea. Lastly, the established Valle del Este, just a 5 minute drive from the house.
