perfect for a nice vacation visit the tipical area of siena,location is very strategic near the see area and very close to the city of florence and siena HISTORY OF THE VILLGE OF SIMIGNANO MY HOUSE . was once a small guard tower use as a watch for the town, which dates back to the 1200`s .the town was once part of a castle that dates back to the 1100`s finally the town sits on land that predates man! the history of this castle ,town and guard tower echoes that of other small towns and strongholds of its day. located near to Siena and governed by the rulers of the region belonging to Siena ,the town of Simignano rebelled against the Siena rule for a classic reason : Siena taxed the hell out of the town and provide no service .the rebellion saw an an eventual secession from the government of Siena and guard towers on ether end of the town`s entrance watched the road trough the ages.
