Resort Lyngorporten
Resort Lyngørporten is situated by the sea on the mainland near the preserved island community of Lyngør. In this idyllic southern Norway enviroment we offer accommodation in traditional style cabins/apartments, restuarant, bar and a patio restaurant with a splendid view to the sea. We also have conference facilities for up to 80 persons. All conference rooms are equipped with state of the art devices at your disposal.

All Cabins are southwesterly facing and directly by the sea. The cabins have kitchen corner and dining area, 3 bedrooms and 2 seperate bathrooms with shower. Inside there is ample room for 6 people sharing. The medium,large and comfort cabins have their own private garden and jetty.

The Islands of Lyngor.
Just a taxi boat ride away are the Islands of Lyngor,these consist of 4 small islands, where there are no roads... imagine..no traffic jams,no roadworks and no M25! The islands have their own shops, post office, firestation and a sailmakers. In 1991 the islands collectively were given the prestigious award of "Europe`s best kept village. Approx 93 people live full-time on the islands but in the summer months this can increase up to as much as 3000.

Although the cabins are self catering there are two restaurants and a shop on site. Also available are conference facilities for up to 80 people. A short boat trip away is the unique island of Lyngor,(well worth a visit.) Bedding & Towels are not inclusive and are available for hire at £12.00 per person....
