The Apartments and Facilities
The Talas Apartments are situated a short walk, 10-15 minutes, from the main resort area where you will find a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The complex offers the ideal setting for perfect holiday; peaceful relaxation during the daytime and nightlife to suit all tastes at Çalýs and a selection of nearby resorts (see Around and About) The Talas complex is a friendly, family-run complex. Situated in a quiet area the complex is ideally situated for local transport. The dolmus (minibus) service to the main town of Fethiye passes the apartments on a regular basis. The complex consists of only 12 apartments (3 blocks of 4). a shared pool. and bar/restaurant area. Accommodation at the apartments consists of 3 spacious bedrooms, (one double and two twin), and can sleep six persons comfortably. Apartments are air-conditioned and have the luxury of three balconies; one from each of the twin bedrooms and one from the lounge. All windows are fitted with insect screens to allow windows to be left open during the hot summer days. Apartments are serviced by a twice-weekly maid service for changing of bed linen, towels and tea towels. An adequate supply of spare items is also provided. The large lounge is furnished with two 3-seater settees and two armchairs plus a dining room table and chairs. All bedrooms have wooden beds, double wardrobes and an excellent range of bedding to suit your personal preference. The kitchen facilities consist of ample storage units, a fridge and gas hob, microwave oven, kettle and toaster, in addition to all necessary cutlery, crockery, pans, etc. The bathroom is fitted with a conventional "full size" bath with mixer shower, washbasin and wc. In addition there is a separate wc room for those moments when shouts of "Have you finished in the bathroom?' fall on deaf ears.

Around and About
Calis - a quiet, relaxed resort with an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. The resort boasts a long shingle beach with crystal blue waters and a cooling breeze. Fethiye - the main town of the area with a wide range of shops to suit both the local Turkish population and the tourist market. The town with its beautiful harbour is the centre for boat trips, excursions and transport to many places of interest. The town has a large open-air market which is well worth a visit. Olu Deniz - the world famous beach and lagoon featured in almost all Turkish holiday brochures. The beach is the focus for a range of sports such as paragliding. The resort is a quiet resort where, like Calis, the main activities take place at the beachfront. Hisaronu - a cooler resort due to its setting in the hills above Olu Deniz. Hisaronu is the liveliest resort in the area with plenty of music bars and discos as well as a range of restaurants and shops. Popular with old and young alike.

Getting There
The Talas Apartment complex is a 50 minute drive from the local (Dalaman) airport. Airport transfers can be arranged to collect your party on arrival and return you to the airport on departure. Transfers cost £60 return and include for upto 6 persons. We will be happy to arrange transfers on your behalf. Payment for transfers is direct to the provider on arrival at the complex. Payment in 'Pounds Sterling' is acceptable. If you wish to rent a car, either on arrival or during your stay, we can put you in touch with our recommended supplier. The local dolmus service passes the complex, in both directions, every 10 minutes.
