The Granary in more detail
The Granary has a total surface area of 40 sq. meters. The arched front entrance leads into the dining area and oak fitted-kitchen. At the rear is a modern bathroom with shower cubicle. A wooden staircase leads up to the bright and spacious double bedroom with double bed. The stairs are quite steep and therefore not suitable for the elderly or disabled. An arched doorway leads from the kitchen into the spacious verando for outdoor dining. The veranda opens onto the private low-walled patio furnished with deck-chairs for relaxation.

The surrounding area
Molin del Resco is 35 km form Florence on the slopes of the Pratomagno mountain range. This is an area of breathtaking natural beauty, excellent local cuisine and where towns and villages are unspoilt by mass tourism. It is also an ideal location for visiting the most important Tuscan cultural centres such as Siena, Arezzo, San Giminiano, the Chianti towns or why not try the thermal baths, only an hours drive away. A car is essential for a stay at Molin del Resco as the local town does not have adequate transport links. However, if you don't like driving into the cities you can leave your car in the nearby town of Figline where there is a very good train service to Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto and many other destinations.
