The accommodation
This apartment is located in Praia da Areia Branca, a small village with a beautiful beach, 3 Km from Lourinhã, 38 Km from Óbidos and 70 Km from Lisbon. Beach is within walking distance (about 700 meters). In Praia da Areia Branca you find a daily market with fresh vegetables, fruits and fish, as well as many shopping facilities, restaurants and bars. For those who do not wish to drive during the holidays, a bus line runs between Lisbon and Praia da Areia Branca. The apartment is located on an elevated ground floor of a three storey residential building. With an area of 102 m² and central heating, it consists of 2 double bedrooms with built-in closets and access to a balcony phacing behind, a living room with sofas, cable TV and dining area with sea view and access to the front balcony, fully equipped kitchen (washing machine incl.) and a complete bathroom. Sleeps 4. Price includes water. ekectricity, bed linen (weekly change), towels (beach towels not included), twice weekly cleaning and towels change.

Praia da Areia Branca
Praia da Areia Branca is a typical resort for the locals with only a few select hotels and holiday resorts. Many Portuguese people from the surrounding areas choose this resort for their August holidays. The beach is watched by lifeguards on duty, and offers sun-shades for rental against a small fee. Those who want to distance themselves from the most crowded areas only have to walk one or two bays down the beach where they will find a bay for themselves. There is a beautiful beach promenade with lots of small cafes and good restaurants. The town is especially filled with teenagers and there is a very special nightlife. The express bus from Lisbon to Peniche stops in Praia da Areia Branca, and it is easy to get around without a car. And if you are not up to sitting at a restaurant, there is a daily a market where you can buy fresh fish for your home barbecue.
