About Villa Jade
This 2 year old villa has new owners for the 2005 season. It's superb position just above the marina and village gives it the edge over it's competition. The furniture inside and outside of the villa has been carefully chosen to reflect not just luxury, but the exotic feel of the Turkish way of life. Inside as you enter Villa Jade, the hall leads to a small wc area and the open plan kitchen. This is fully stocked with everything you may need if you plan to dine at home. From the kitchen you can either walk into the superb dining area, which has been decorated with new furniture and exotic lighting and has air conditioning, or down 2 steps into the lounge area, again, this has air conditioning. Here there are 2 large comfortable sofas with tables and space for relaxing. For entertainment there is a large satellite tv, dvd and cd music systems. Spiral stairs lead up to the 2 large main air conditioned bedrooms. Both of these have good size ensuite bathrooms. 1 has a full size bath and stand-in shower system and the other has a small bath and stand-in shower system. Each bedroom has a very good range of furniture and extensive views out to the marina, bay and islands beyond. Doors also lead onto the pool balcony where meals can be taken for that extra romantic evening. There are also 2 comfortable fold-up beds ideal for children but can be used by adults. Outside the villa you are greeted with a superb swimming pool and integrated Jacuzzi. There is a superb range of new luxury wooden pool furniture and shady large umbrellas for those hot days. Just above and also below the villa are 2 exotic gardens which add that extra feeling of luxury. The gardens and pool are maintained daily. Finally, the view - this villa has probably the best view of any other Kalkan villa. It is high up and central therefore you are able to see not just the bay of Kalkan, but the bay of Kalamar too. In the evening, the rooftop restaurants light up the sky and will temp you down to the village for one of those fantastic meals complemented with jazz music. Enjoy!

Kalkan is a beautiful and fascinating Mediterranean town, located in the heart of the Teke Peninsula or ancient Lycia . If you would like to stay in a town of houses with crumbling wooden balconies, spilling with begon villas and overlooking a spectacular bay, then Kalkan is your place. Kalkan is a delightful confusion of cobbled streets, wooden balconies, a very good selection of small shops, seafront restaurants and bars, some of which are situated on the roofs of the buildings commanding fabulous views over the bay and the small elegant harbour. It is the kind of lazy and easy resort where time can pass doing virtually nothing except relaxing and enjoying your days . However, for those who want to explore the surrounding area, it is a great base as Kalkan's in the centre of Lycia. You may want to explore great historic sites like Tlos, Xanthos, Kekova & Simena, Pýnara, Patara, Arycanda and many others. You can go to Turkeys most beautiful beaches Kaputas and Patara. From Kalkan Patara is a stretch of 17km of superb sand approximately 20 minutes away from Kalkan. Kaputas beach is a stunning and cosy sandy beach about 15 min drive away . Kalkan also has its own pretty pebble beach by the harbour.
