Apartments Marta are situated in tourist area Borik, 20 metres far from the beach and numerous restaurants offering delicious mediteranian cuisine. You could walk little further and find your own, isolated spot for enjoing sun and sea and be alone. Still, if you prefere crowd there is big tourist complex near by offering a lot of sport activities like school of diving, surfing, tennis. Car is not indispensible because there is local bus station 3 minutes from apartment that takes you to the centre of Zadar, 10 minutes by bus.

Zadar is historical city with rich history and a lot of curches, squares, archs and roman influence. Full of narrow, tipically Dalmatian streets. Walking through ancient part of Zadar situated on semipeninsula ( 4 picture) is real pleasure. While walking and finding out about croatian inheritance from reneissance and roman period you would be appealed by little, charming Dalmatian restaurants called '' konoba'' offering varaety of good vine, fresh fish and ''risotos''.The prices are moderate comparing those in Greece, Italy or Spain, good meal is about 10 EUR, coffy 1 EUR.

4 National Parks
Not more than 1 hour and half distance there are 4 National Parks that are '' must see'' natural beauties. Excursions by boat - Kornati Islands: 140 little islands with incredible clear water, by bus: Plitvice Lakes, Krka Waterfalls, Paklenica, are unique peaces. Yet, if you are tired of summer warm weather you could drive 1 hour to the mountain area, visit village farms, enjoying in naturally prepared food, bike by the lakes and walk in undiscovered areas.
