The Villa
The villa is situated on the side of a mountain directly above the town of Dryanovo. The surounding area is composed of vineyards and small holdings. The setting is of total tranquility. The air is fresh and clear. The villa itself is totally modern equipped as it is with a swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi, however it is so designed that it blends seemlessly with the background setting of rural Bulgaria.

Dryanovo
Dryanovo is a modern town which has all the facilities that you would expect and appreciate. You will find mixed with carefully preserved history a well equipped modern hospital, post office and the typical administrative buildings that you would expect in any modern town. I apprectiate the myriad of colourful and quaint shops and restaurants which appear dotted about the town.

Gabrovo and Tarnovo
Gabrovo is a significant and well equipped modern ski centre and is a mere 20 minute drive. Tarnovo is the historic centre of the region and for a while was the capital of Bulgaria and is also a 20 minute drive from the villa. Within walking distance I have monastic caves cut into the rock of the Stara Planina mountain range. Of course, wherever you look, there are breathtaking views.
