Master Bedroom: With double bed, 2 bedside cabinets/lamps, triple wardrobe and fully tiled en suite shower room and toilet. Patio doors leading to poolside balcony. Bedroom 2: With twin beds, bedside cabinet/lamp double wardrobe and Patio door leading to the parkside balcony. Bedroom 3: With twin beds, bedside cabinet/lamp and double wardrobe. Bathroom: A fully tiled family bathroom with a large corner bath, toilet,hand basin, washing machine and water heater. 1st Floor: Lounge: A beautilfully furnished living area with 3 peice suite/sofa bed, TV with cabinet, DVD player, CD player. Floor lamp, coffee table and Turkish rug. Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker/hob and extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. All cooking and dining utensils. Main Terrace: A large terrace overlooking the pool and complex with a built in Barbeque, Patio furniture. With plenty of room to top up the tan on the sunloungers. Parkside Terrace: Another large terrace at the rear of the apartment overlooking the countryside. A complimentary shuttle bus, runs between the complex and Altinkum from morning to late evening, making a car unnecessary. Travelling locally by dolmus (local mini-bus) is very cheap and easy and taxis are also readily available. Distances: As the complex is close to Altinkum, a car is not essential, but if you like to be independently mobile, this may be easily arranged and we recommend Proper Car Rental from Izmir or Bodrum Milas Airports, or Oracle Travel in resort. Please ask for details when booking. Oracle can also arrange tours - ask at bar or reception for details. Further Details: The Golden Park Holiday Village is in a quiet location between the main resort of Altinkum and Didim (formerly Yenihisa). Didim offers local shopping and also has a number of restaurants. These tend to offer more typically Turkish cuisine than those in Altinkum, which cater to the tourist trade. Didim's restaurants are good value and definitely worth trying. The Saturday market is huge and well worth visiting, as there are bargains to be had in everything from clothing and household goods to food. There are 3 supermarkets close by and it is easy to purchase familiar produce. Credit cards are accepted, but they may want to see your passport or picture driving license as well. There are banks and ATM's in Didim and Altinkum, as well as lots of Exchange offices - take Sterling as it's very sought after and the exchange rate tends to rise day on day. Altinkum benefits from three beach areas, all well maintained and there are sunbeds and parasols for hire and watersports available. The compact town center means that everything is within easy walking distance, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. There is always a friendly relaxed atmosphere here and the people are very welcoming. The resort has a variety of amenities, making it appealing to a wide age range - offering everything from a traditional Turkish Bath, to all night clubbing. The restaurants offer a wide range of cuisine, with most providing a selection of English, International and Turkish dishes. There is also an Indian and a Chinese restaurant in the resort. When shopping, remember to haggle - it's expected and it's fun! You will find bargains almost everywhere, but particularly in leather goods, onyx and jewellery. The location of Altinkum makes it an ideal base, for tours to explore the heritage and culture of Turkey, with such places as Ephesus and Pammukale being only a few hours away and Apollo Temple, just a few minutes up the road.
