Maritime surroundings If you're interested in fishing, and nature, child-safe surroundings and a pleasant vacation center for the whole family, Uggdal Holiday Appartments are the place for you. It's the perfect base for a maritime holiday, and the friendly host and hostess will make sure you have a memorable stay. The apartment complex is situated right down by the water's edge and is therefore particularly well suited for trips around the skerries, fishing and recreation. Fishing Tysnes Sjø og Fritid is specialised in fishing tourism and has all the appropriate equipment: We have boats with 10-, 25-, and 30- HP outboard motors and dieselboats for rent. They're located at the marina right in front of the hotel. Life jackets and sea charts are included and we have echo-sounders available for rent. Gas/fuel for the boats can be bought on location. We have a wide selection of fishing equipment, both for sale and rental. You'll find all the equipment needed to get a good catch in our fishing shop. Here you'll also find "Tysnes Båtutleige" and an English-speaking fishing guide (Michael). He knows where and how to catch the big fish and he's more than willing to share his knowledge with you. In addition, they also offer special courses in flyfishing, beginnner class fjordfishing and guided salmon/charr fishing. Bar and bistro The Maritime appartments has its own cozy, fully licenced bistro. Here you can relax at the bar or eat a delightful meal from the varied menu. The bistro also has a large outdoors seating area. 1,5 hours from Bergen Tysnes Sjø og Fritid is located in beautiful surroundings in Uggdal, Tysnes. The complex is only an hour and a half by car/ferry from the centre of Bergen. Directions from Bergen: Follow the E-39 to Halhjem ferry quay and take the ferry from Halhjem to Våge. The passage takes about 35 minutes. From there it's a 10 minute drive from Våge to Uggdal, where you'll find Tysnes Sjø og Fritid on your right side, approximately 500 m after passing the municipality centre ("kommunesenteret"). Rent a boat. Go fishing. Make a trip to one of the nearby beaches. Tysnes Sjø og Fritid is a good starting point for a wide range of activities: Boat rental. At Tysnes Sjø og Fritid we can offer you boats in different sizes which can be used for fishing trips or for taking in the skerries. Sea fishing. Tysnes is a fine starting point for sea fishing both from land and from boat. Boats can be rented at the facility.

DEPOSIT For this holiday home in Norway, a deposit is paid when the key is collected, the size of which depending on the value of the holiday home. This deposit acts as security for the holiday home being passed on in a clean and presentable state and as an on-account payment for electricity. Linen (duvet covers, bottom sheets & pillow cases and towels) can be hired on arrival from the onsite manager. It is standard Norwegian practice not to make the beds up. This is done by the customer on arrival. You are welcome to bring your own linen if you prefer. Duvets and pillows are provided. Cancellation insurance in the case of illness or death. Included in the rental is compulsary cancellation insurance of 4%. Only those people named on the booking form are covered by the insurance. What does the insurance cover? The insurance covers that part of the rental which is not refunded upon cancellation of the booking in situations where the insured is prevented from going through with the booking, or where going through with the booking is made extremely difficult: Details of the policy can be sent on request. Arrival at the holiday home Where nothing else is stated on the website, on price lists or in the rental agreement, the rental period runs from the first day 16.00 (4 p.m.) to the last day 10.00 (10 a.m.). You should arrive at the holiday home on the first day for the holiday period before 19.00 (7 p.m.) unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement. Arrival at a later time should be agreed in good time with the company.We cannot be held responsible, should late arrival make it impossible to gain access to the holiday home on the first day of the holiday period. Due to the geography and the location of some of the properties in Norway, We would strongly recommend the use of a car during your stay. Public transport can be expensive and infrequent compared to the UK. Bookings are made subject to our standard terms and conditions.
